Job Description:nAn 11kV or 33kV Senior Authorised Person (Overhead, Plant and Underground) is required to join the HS2 project team delivering New Connections, Diversions and Avoidance of Danger/ Plant Protection activity. This will include contributing to design reviews and collaborating/ working with Project Engineers/ Managers in addition to general construction management & operational duties.

The candidate must be DNO trained and authorised, ideally within the East or West Midlands licence areas, but applicants trained and authorised in the Wales and Southwest licence areas will also be considered. Candidates must have at least 8 years’ experience and be ideally Authorised with Field Control.

ResponsibilitiesnThe construction, reinforcement, alteration and replacement of assets.nThe maintenance and repair of assets.nThe restoration of supplies to customers and repair of faulty assets.nThe issue of safety documents up to 33kV.nThe organisation of individual projects.nThe cost effectiveness of individual projects.nOwn performance and behaviour.nThe impact of project and own activities on customers, public and environment.nThe health and safety of the team.nThe identification of necessary physical resources.nThe effective use of contracts.nThe representation of the team and the Company at the individual level.
