Position Overview:nOur client is currently seeking a dedicated Tax Associate to join their esteemed team in London. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor with a passion for tax law to contribute to the firm's renowned tax practice and work on complex and challenging tax matters.

Responsibilities:nProvide expert legal advice and support to clients on a wide range of tax matters, including corporate tax, international tax, and VAT.nConduct thorough research and analysis of tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.nDraft and review legal documents, including tax opinions, tax agreements, and tax compliance documents.nAssist in tax planning and structuring for corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganisations.nRepresent clients in tax disputes and negotiations with tax authorities.nKeep abreast of changes in tax legislation and provide proactive advice to clients on potential impacts and opportunities.nBuild and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:nQualified solicitor with a strong academic background in law, specialising in tax law.nDemonstrable experience working in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department, with a focus on tax law.n1-4 years PQEnSolid understanding of UK tax legislation and regulations, with knowledge of international tax principles being advantageous.nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply tax laws to complex situations.nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.nMembership of the Law Society of England and Wales or equivalent professional body is desirable.
