Lighting Assembly Operative
Location: Mitcham
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lighting Assembly Operative to join their team in Mitcham. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hands-on work and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
* Assemble and wire various lighting fixtures and components according to specifications
* Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
* Ensure proper functioning and quality control of assembled products
* Finishing and Patination of high end lighting equipment
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
Requirements:
* Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing, preferably in the lighting industry
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
* Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and components
* Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
* Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications:
* Relevant vocational training or certification in electrical or mechanical assembly
* Experience with quality control procedures
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
