Debt Advisory Associate

My client is a London based Debt Advisory boutique. They are very highly regarded, with a senior leadership team with an enviable track record of advising on a wide range of transactions across the debt spectrum.nThey are now looking for an Associate to work as a member of their successful and growing team. The successful candidate will work with a small group of professionals, with the benefit of direct access to the leadership within the team, assuming significant responsibility, experiencing strong deal-flow, gaining transaction exposure and opportunity for progression.

Purpose of Role:nUndertake financial analysis and research, to prepare presentations and manage transactions

Key Responsibilities:nThe core role is to:nassist in the preparation of marketing materials and pitches for new businessnundertake financial modelling and produce detailed valuationsnwrite information memoranda and client presentationsnIn addition, the successful candidate will be expected to:nproduce briefing notes and research relating to trends in the debt marketsnresearch, collate and interpret data in order to present a complete picture of an organisation or sectornserve as a point of contact for clients in the day-to-day management of transactionsnstart to build own network of contacts (e.g. lawyers, accountants, consultants and potential clients such as junior staff at private equity firms)nmake a contribution to the firm’s Private Equity relationships

Experience and QualificationsnStrong academic record (at least a 2.1 degree or equivalent)nRelevant past experience in investment banking, commercial banking, or debt advisory. You will most probably have 2-4 years of

Leveraged Finance

experience.nStrong financial modelling skills (Excel).nExperience of writing presentations (PowerPoint) and information memoranda (Word)
