Housing Manager

BDS are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing manager to cover a retirement living service based in Wirksworth.
The service is mixed tenure, knowledge of managing Leasehold and rented properties is essential .
We are looking for someone with a friendly and happy demeanour to be the first point of contact for the residents of the service.
Speaking with the residents daily
Signposting information on other services, in and around the area.
Checking the property for any repairs and reporting these as required,
Overseeing the service to ensure the smooth running.
Involving the residents in activities within the service
Health and safety compliance
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of IT and systems
Previous Housing experience required,
Managing tenancies and void propertied etc
Easy to approach and be able to chat easily with residents.
This position is for 35 Hours a week
We are looking for someone with the ability to start within the next week.
This is a temporary position initially for the first 3 months with the possibility to extend or become a perm position.
