Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative for our client in the Royston area. This is working for a leading food manufacture.
This role will start temporary but would look to go permanent for the right candidate.
*Only applicants with a driving licence and own transport will be considered*
Duties of a Factory Operative:
Basic Production line duties
Working at the end of the line placing product into boxes / packaging
Quality control, ensuring product meets health and safety standards
Final packing and palletising of product getting ready for dispatch
Making sure all areas of production are always clean and tidy
Helping within other areas of the Factory when needed
The Ideal Factory Operative:
In-date counterbalance licence is preferred
Forklift experience is preferred
Driving Licence and own transport - due to location this company is not accessible via public transport
Previous experience in manufacturing and production preferred
Good time keeping
Excellent communication skills
Looking for full-time, long-term work
Hours & Pay:
£12ph - £12.50ph (dependant on experience)
Monday - Friday
07.30 - 17.00
Holiday pay
Weekly pay
