The roleAs a valued member of our team, you will have responsibility of overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects, guiding them from their very inception through to their successful completion.Working closely with a Capital Projects Manager to design and execute capital investment projects. Your main goal will be to ensure that the spending of Weetabix Capital funds aligns with our business strategy and requirementsThe Recipe for Success Successful applicants will:Review project objectives and define the full scope of work, ensuring all the necessary specifications required for the tender submission are metConduct a fair tender process for the project proposal, taking charge of the terms and conditions and handling contract negotiationsCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, managing the budget and timeline for smooth project implementationExpertly manage project risks, including scheduling and resolving any conflicts that may ariseReview and approve RAMS and conduct the required training to manage onsite work, including issuing of work permits and overseeing high-risk activities in compliance with legislation and Weetabix policies.Efficiently complete the project closure, summarising the benefits and achievements post-completion, and obtaining the necessary sign-off from relevant bodies to comply with UK legislation.IngredientsQualifications:Hold a recognised Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent)Possess appropriate safety qualifications (MSTS, FAAW, and IOSH)
