GI Pro are working in partnership with an aerospace company, based in Wigston, Leicester, who are one of the world's largest manufacturers of nuts, bolts, and fasteners.
Our client is recruiting a CNC Grinding or EDM Machinist to work on 3 shift weekly rotating shift mornings, afternoons, and nights.
This is a permanent role, paying £15.76 per hour
3 Shift Rotation
Mornings: 5:45am - 1:45pm Monday - Thursday, 5:45am - 10:45am Friday
Afternoons: 1:45pm - 9:45pm Monday - Thursday, 10:45pm - 3:45pm Friday
Nights: 9:45pm - 5:45am Monday - Thursday, 3:45pm - 8:45pm Friday**Please note throughout your training period you will need to commit to a day shift
Job Description
Operating and Setting EDM or Grinding machines in the production of high-volume parts
Running up to 5 machines at one time
Read and work from technical drawings.
Quality inspecting parts through the use of various gauges such as verniers, micrometers, inspection clock, CMMs etc.
Working to targets (production, quality, housekeeping etc.), as set by the Cell Manager.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have previous experience in CNC machining as the client will upskill you on other machines
You will be able to perform quality inspection with Micrometers, Callipers, Verniers etc.
