Installation Engineer

Our client who are at the forefront of their niche industry are looking to recruit an installation Engineer on a fulltime permanent basis. Our client installs epos machines into local retail outlets across the UK and you will travel to site and install the machines (including any ancillary work, drilling, running cables through ceiling panels). this role is 35 hours a week Monday to Friday.
Job Role: -
* Report into the Installation Manager daily for schedule to sites throughout UK to install Epos systems, which may entail overnight stays.
* Become proficient in the ShopMate software in order to train the customers in its functionality.
* Deal with customers’ requests via the telephone.
* Visits sites for engineer engagements/breakdowns.
* Willingness to provide demonstrations of the Epos system at occasional trade events
This role offers a company car which can be used for private miles (but you pay the petrol) so a real perk. To be considered for this role the skill base is important but also excellent customer service is paramount as you will be the face of our client and so interaction with customers is key.
