Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Bespoke Joinery Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of each project. Your duties will include:
Preparing Detailed Cost Estimates: Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for bespoke joinery and fit out projects.
Tender Documentation: Manage and prepare tender documentation, ensuring all requirements are met.
Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of drawings, specifications, and other documents to assess cost implications.
Supplier & Subcontractor Liaison: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Project Feasibility: Assess project feasibility, identifying potential risks and providing value engineering options.
Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, providing expert advice on cost-effective solutions.
Bid Management: Oversee the submission of bids, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with client expectations.
Project Handover: Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure a seamless handover of estimating information.
Market Research: Stay updated with market trends, material costs, and industry advancements to provide the most current and competitive estimates.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the estimating process, identifying opportunities for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience as an estimator within the bespoke joinery sector.
Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes and interior contracting.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
