About the Role:
J Squared Solutions is hiring on behalf of a leading Facilities Management (FM) company for a Static Engineer position based at a flagship commercial building in Hammersmith. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to be part of a prestigious project, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems
* Diagnosing and resolving faults in plant, systems, and equipment
* Responding promptly to reactive maintenance tasks
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Managing contractor relationships and overseeing works
* Providing technical support and liaising with stakeholders on-site
Qualifications and Skills Required:
* Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ)
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a commercial setting
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
