Due to the continued growth within the business, there has never been a greater need for a Planning Manager to adopt, adapt and improve the organisations processes and systems.
Our respected client is actively seeking a growing professional with demonstrated experience in planning to join their developing team based in Cornwall and take ownership of the department.
As the Planning Manager you will be accountable for the onsite material planning, forecasting, supporting group procurement and mitigating supplier risks where possible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Material Planning - ensuring planning processes are in line with production
* People Management - growing and developing the department through effective coaching and developing a positive working culture.
* Managing Efficiency - improving production efficiency, improving changeover times and errors in production.
* Inventory Management - ensure stock levels are sustainable and ordering new material / stock when necessary.
* Continuous Improvement - implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve overall supply chain performance.
This is an exciting period within the business that will require an ambitious Planning Manager to play a pivotal role within our client's supply chain and production processes.
The role will allow the right individual to take ownership of a planning department within a growing organisation that has cemented their reputation as an industry leader in their field.
A successful candidate will display a strong background in production planning and the motivation to develop a long-term and prosperous career within the food manufacturing sector.
