Role: Wood Machinist
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £11.88 per hour minimum (client is open to pay rate linked to experience)
Shifts: Mornings and Afters
Weekly Rotating shifts:
* Mornings 6am - 2pm -
* Afters 2pm - 12am or 2pm to 11pm
* Overtime Available at Enhanced Rates
Our client is an engineering company involved in the design and manufacture of bespoke components.
We are recruiting for a Wood Machinist to join their team in Rotherham.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Working with measuring tools to tight tolerances (vernier calipers and micrometers)
* Operating large belt fed sanding machines.
* Using table saws
* Adhering to health and safety
* Excellent Health and Safety philosophy
Person Specification:
* Experience with hand routing operations (table routing)
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Experience working with wood
