who will be a part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within aerospace industry in Bracknell or Motherwell
Your duty will be working on complex aerospace engineering projects across a variety of remits including Environmental Control System, Hydraulics, and Life Support Systems.
Responsibilities:
Implement complex and standard engineering solutions, typically undertaking one aspect of a large project (i.e. MMI, Control or Safety applications, IT, Hardware design), to successful completion within budgeted time and cost constraints achieving required quality.
You will need to interface directly with customers on specific design details of solutions and technically coach/mentor an assistant and actively share knowledge with other engineers in the discipline team.
You will be supporting the implementation of projects in line with company objectives including continuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, working capital and safety performance.
There is a particular need for this role to have TDC3000 / TPS system knowledge.
Full time: Monday to Friday
8:00am - 5:15pm Pay Rate is £45 p/h (might vary depending on experience).
There may be some flexibility to work your hours over 4 days.
Skills which are required following above duties:
Experience of working within a project engineering environment or degree in mechanical engineering/aerospace.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and understanding of aerospace terminology.
Experience of using Microsoft project or similar project forecasting system.
Understanding and experience of working with suppliers and integrated supply chains.** The successful candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK and be able to pass all appropriate background and security checks. **
