Hours: 7.30am-5pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday 8am-12pm

Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
Supervise a team of yard operatives and delivery drivers in a hands-on role - ensuring your team are set up for the days duties - scheduling workloads and allocating resources
Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values
Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (FLT training/refresher will be provided if necessary)
Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
Make Health & Safety a priority and ensure team are compliant with all regulations

Required Skills and Experience
Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work accordingly
Strong leadership and communication skills
Confident working both indoors and outdoors and a health and safety focus
Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
