Our well-established MEP building services engineering consultancy is currently recruiting a Senior Engineer /Associate Director to lead their team in London. Working across various sectors, and with offices in Dublin, Belfast, and London this is a fantastic opportunity to take your next step towards Directorship. 
The role:
As the Associate Director, you will lead and expand their London office in collaboration with the Company Directors. In addition to directing, supervising, and coordinating the work activities of the engineering department, you will offer design expertise for MEP building services requirements in large-scale and complex buildings. The role involves overseeing the technical direction of the team, managing project budgets and timelines, and acting as a mentor when necessary. This opportunity serves as a pathway to Directorship, allowing you to demonstrate capability and aptitude in a senior management role.
Responsibilities
To assist in the management of the Company and support Directors
Responsible for supervision and training of team 
Progress in the development of the London office including:
Financial operations and targets 
Project management/technical governance/cost control
Team management,resourcing and recruitment    
Promoting the business in the London/GB market, securing new business   
Requirements
BSc/BEng in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Chartered status in CIBSE or equivalent professional membership of an engineering institution   
Minimum of 5+ years management experience within a consulting design engineering environment  
Experience of managing a team of at least six and experience of producing financial returns through profitable operations.  
Thorough knowledge of engineering principles behind the design and implementation of MEP building services 
Excellent communicator with a strong client focus while working in a team environment
An enthusiasm for continuous improvement, innovation and sustainability and develop best practice within your team
Ability to secure business from new and existing clients 
Manage the engineering team to produce quality designs to agreed deadlines
Flexibility to travel across the UK when required
