Role Overview:

As a Security Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in identifying vulnerabilities, enhancing security measures, and ensuring the safety of our clients’ digital environments. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of tasks, from vulnerability scanning to technical content creation.

Responsibilities:

Vulnerability Detection and Automation:nCollaborate with our security team to scan customer systems for critical vulnerabilities.nDevelop new vulnerability checks using tools like Nuclei.nCurate crowd-sourced checks for inclusion in our Intruder platform.nAutomate penetration testing processes to scale across multiple clients simultaneously.

Rapid Response and Custom Scanning:nConduct custom scans on customer targets to identify emerging critical weaknesses.nProvide rapid response solutions to address urgent security issues.

Technical Content Creation:nWrite informative and engaging technical content for our website, focusing on the latest vulnerabilities and security trends.

Research and Platform Improvements:nCollaborate on research projects to enhance the Intruder platform.nProvide evidence-based recommendations for novel improvements.

Client Interaction:nAssist clients during technical calls, offering expert guidance.nOccasionally participate in industry events and conferences.

Qualifications and Experience:

Industry Experience:nMinimum of 2 years in offensive security roles.nProven track record in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.nEducational Background:nTechnical academic background in software engineering or cyber security.

Certifications (One or More):nOSCPnOSWEnOSEPnCRTnCCT APPnCCT INF

Technical Skills:nNetwork penetration testing with a deep understanding of network protocols.nWeb application penetration testing, including knowledge of application layer vulnerabilities.nProficiency in automating tasks using Python, Ruby, or Golang.nExperience developing, extending, or modifying detection and fingerprinting code.nFamiliarity with exploit development, shellcode, and exploit tools.

Tool Proficiency:nStrong knowledge of web application and network security testing tools, including commercial vulnerability scanners.
