Quantity Surveyor - Cornwall/Remote

We are working with an award-winning Water Treatment Solutions company that keep our seas and rivers clean and water safe to drink. The business is rapidly growing and is looking to add an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team to reduce their risk and maximise their commercial opportunities.

Responsibilities :

Perform routine cost assurance checks to verify that the anticipated cost figures and the actual invoiced amounts align with the price lists or quotations obtained during the tender phase.nIdentify and assess Early Warning/Compensation Events (Change Management) promptly to safeguard and enhance time, cost, and scope optimisation.nAllocate additional resources to support the Tendering team in preparing and analysing project cost estimates for tenders, encompassing materials, quantities, labour, and time considerations.

Skills/Experience:

Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on engineering or Civil worksnExperience with NEC 3/4 contract negotiationnStrong commercial acumen

Salary: CompetitivenLocation: Cornwall very much ideal. Potential for remote candidates.
