AECOM are currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to work on our joint venture with Caledonia Water Alliance where we have teamed up with Morrison Water Services to deliver Scottish Water's SR21 Water and Wastewater Infrastructure programme.
which includes Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Geotechnical and Environmental engineers.
Ensuring work complies with Scottish Water and Water Industry specifications.
Carrying out site visits, non-intrusive surveys and inspection assessments.
Supervising and mentoring junior engineers while liaising with the construction delivery team to provide solutions to challenges that arise during the construction process.
Liaising with clients to obtain relevant technical consents as part of the engineering process, keep up-to-date with industry best practices, and identify innovation/best practices for consideration when appropriate.
Complying with CWA Quality Assurance procedures.
You will play a key role in the Improving Urban Waters programme for Scottish Water, as well as delivering flooding and capital maintenance projects through our SR21 wastewater infrastructure framework across Scotland. Projects will include CSO's, storm storage tanks, rising mains, SUDs, Sewer rehab/replacement and pipebridges.
You will be part of a diverse team of around 30x Civil Engineers and CAD Technicians, with support from specialist Designers from within the AECOM and CWA communities.
We promote staff development and progression, and there are many development opportunities within CWA and AECOM. We offer a unique opportunity to deliver the full project cycle, from concept design through to detailed design, and delivery

Experience of working within water or wastewater infrastructure
