Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Engineer's role is to manage contracts and develop customer relations from initial site inspection to commissioning.
Responsibilities:
* Controls the costs associated with the contracts
* Engineers the contracts to ensure they meet customer requirements
* Liaises with the customer
* Project manages the contracts
* Oversees the installation of contracts
* Commissions and trains the customer on the contracts
* Populates all required documentation to the PRINCE2 project management standard
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
* Must have a full understanding of PRINCE2 and passed the examination
* Must be proficient in mathematics
* Must have an understanding of business studies
* Must be proficient in engineering drawing
* Must be trained to manage people
* Must be capable of running a budget and controlling the project finances
* Must have a good understanding of health and safety operational requirements
* Must be familiar with good project management principles
* Have a good understanding of instrumentation and control
* Have basic knowledge of PLC systems
* Must have a good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Must be proficient in the principles of machinery installation and commissioning
* Must be capable of problem-solving and troubleshooting
* Must have a strong understanding of Sage
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate internally
* Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
