Dyas Electrical is a Grimsby based electrical company established 40 years ago providing turnkey engineering solutions for our clients from project start to finish on a range of commercial and industrial sites. Recent projects have included but not limited to; full electrical fit out of explosive atmosphere bulk storage sheds, substation constructions and various electrical control systems. Works are mainly based locally but there is opportunity for working away if the candidate wishes to when these projects come up such as the conveyor systems Dyas have recently installed for HS2 or the various abroad works we have done in the past for the British Foreign Office. We have a host of longstanding clients such as ABP, Centrica, IGas, British Steel and more spread over multiple sites which enables our electricians to develop a good broad knowledge of different electrical systems and equipment.

Due to recent award of various Industrial Electrical Installation Projects around the Humber, we are looking to employ Approved 18th Edition Electricians and Electrical Improvers to join the existing team at Dyas

The Successful Candidate Must Haven- Experience in electrical installation of containment and wiring systems in industrial and commercial environments.n- Competent at reading and understanding Electrical Drawings.n- Good at following instructions from management and relaying site information back to management.n- Experience of industry standard permit to work systems.n- Must be self-motivated, able to work alone and as part of a team as well as able to meet key dates on project programmes.n- Would be beneficial to have Electrical certification / 18th Edition of BS7671/ Equivalent.n- Would be beneficial to have experience conducting both EIC and EICR to BS7671 standards.n- Would be beneficial to have electrical Inspection & Testing Certificate 2391-52 or equivalent.

Training and Improvement is encouraged for all employees with opportunities to attain various electrical and construction industry qualifications.

Day to Day Tasks / Responsibilitiesn- Installation of industrial cable containment such as tray, basket and ladder work. Installation of cabling , glanding and terminating.n- Build and install electrical control panels.n- Fault diagnoses and repair on plant and machinery.n- Installation and modifications of switchgear and various types of cabling depending on the project designs.n- Installation of various types of lighting.n- Installation of fire alarm and data systems.

Regular opportunities for overtime working. 24 holiday days per year plus bank holidays.
