Accountabilities:nOperate the site Welding Quality Management Systems (Weldeye). To provide administration and support service to the Welding & QA-QC Dept for the Project/ Contract as required.nInputting of welding data from the weld procedure specifications (WPS), the site technical schedule (STS) and engineering drawings.nGenerate and issue Weld Process Control Cards for site welding activities, including heat treatment and NDT (work face governance)nContribute to the completion of site welding quality records

Key Deliverables:nOperate and administer the WeldEye Welding Management System for the Project/ Contract site operations.nTransfer all required data into WeldEye.nGenerate site specific weld process control cards in line with afore mentioned weld procedures.nCreate a TQS and Weld IDsnCreate Work Orders (generate WPCC/PWHT & NDE Requests)nFeedback and maintain welding activities, results, and records.nMaintain welding records, including document registers and dashboardsnMaintain work files containing the necessary documentation.nInteract with all other departments associated with welding operations.nAssist with analysis of welding and NDT data and KPI’s.nIncorporate/address pertinent lessons learned from previous activities.nLead and foster a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience:nNVQ 2 or EquivalentnCITB HS&E TestnProven track record in large scale Installation of complex, multi-discipline projects, in the nuclear or similar regulated sector, including major EPC projects.nExperience of welding related activities, inspections (visual and NDT) and quality control.nA positive ‘can do’ mentality.nDemonstrates strong communication skills, liaising effectively with peers, team members and other functions.nAble to demonstrate accountability for their own actions and take responsibility.
