Keoghs Scotland are seeking to recruit an Associate Solicitor to join our expanding Glasgow team. You will handle your own caseload of litigated motor injury, fraud and credit hire cases and assist the Partner in the day to day running of the team and higher value cases. There will be a requirement to undertake court appearance work and supervision of a growing team.

Key Accountabilitiesn• Forensic review and analysis of relevant documents.n• Analysis of liability.n• Analysis of quantum and causation.n• Assisting in drafting advice.n• Client liaison.n• Court appearance and attendance with counsel.n• Drafting documents and correspondence to clients/court/witnesses.n• Preparing witness statements and instructions to experts.n• Assisting Partners and other members of the team where required.n• Assisting in business development initiatives, including drafting of articles, blog pieces, e-shots and presentations and attendance at relevant events.nWorking Hoursn35 hours per weeknMonday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.nPrimary location for this role is the Glasgow Office.

Essential Skills and Attributes:n• Litigation experience 3+ years PQE (preferably defender motor)n• Supervisory experiencen• Excellent communication skillsn• Excellent forensic skillsn• Ability to prioritise tasks and to work under pressuren• Excellent organisational skillsn• Previous experience of time recording is preferablen• The ability to work as part of a team and independently
