MTM Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a BIM Engineer to join our engineering team in ou Strabane, County Tyrone office.n​nWho We Are...nMTM Engineering was established in 1997 and is an Electrical Engineering company that specialises in MV & LV electrical cable installation, termination services, and containment solutions for a wide range of construction projects. Our expertise spans across industries such as Data Centres and Pharmaceutical throughout Europe and beyond.nThe Role….nAs BIM Engineer, you will be responsible for continuous monitoring of BIM data, collaborating with Design, procurement and planning, linking project schedule to BIM software, manage progress and resolve BIM implementation issues.nResponsibilities….nDevelop and implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) protocols and standards for assigned project.nCreate detailed 3D & 2D digital designs for Electrical and Mechanical systems using BIM software.nCoordinate with design engineers, client and project manager to integrate multiple disciplinary models into a unified BIM model.nPerform clash detection and conflict resolution within the BIM model to prevent construction errors and rework.nGenerate and maintain accurate documentation and reports from BIM models, including drawings, schedules, and material takeoffs.nFacilitate BIM model reviews and walkthroughs with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with design intent and project specifications.nTrain and mentor junior BIM staff and other team members on BIM processes, best practices, and software use.nResearch and implement new BIM technologies and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy of modelling and simulation processes.nEssential Criteria….n3rd Level Qualification in Engineering, or Building Service with relevant BIM qualification.nAt least 2-3 years of BIM working experiencenMechanical or Electrical backgroundnGood Microsoft Office skills (Word; Excel; Powerpoint; Outlook; Teams)nAttention to DetailnSelf-motivated to ensure that project deadlines are achievednStrong communication skills with ability to collaborate with all stakeholdersnStrong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
