An Automotive company focusing on the design and build of prototype and low volume high energy density lithium battery packs is now looking for a Senior Simulink Engineer. The successful candidate will support activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
 
The Senior Simulink Engineer will:
Lead the development of Simulink models for automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS) and other Electric Vehicle (EV) applications.
Manage schedules and testing of daily software builds.
Assist with requirements capture, development, architecture design, and application software development for current and future products.
Manage multiple assigned tasks and provide succinct progress reports to management.
Support software debugging and fault resolution on test systems as well as vehicles.  
The Senior Simulink Engineer will have:
Automotive experience, including HV applications and ISO26262.
Battery Management System (BMS) development.
Understanding of the development lifecycle for a safety-critical application.
MATLAB/Simulink development.
Ability to take a hands-on, methodical, approach to test, fault finding and commissioning of systems.
