Learning Support Worker

We are working with an alternative provision in Chorley, who are looking to secure the services of an outstanding learning support assistant. This particular role is to support the needs of students with SEN, who display challenging behaviours and can become disengaged from learning quite quickly. You must be comfortable with SEND/SEMH.

Full time
Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day
Hours 8:30 am 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
