We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and background of working within and engineering/ manufacturing environment.Key Tasks: Perform independent visual, dimensional, inspection of component parts, sub-assemblies, and finished product assembliesknowledge of welding or what good welds look likeexperience of machined componentsExperienced in "walk rounds" pointing out and resolving quality issues within the manufacturing process and departmentUse Gauges and other measuring equipmentPerforming sample inspectionKnowledge and experience of NCR's and FAIRSAccurately document the results of the inspections and testing and maintaining recordsInteracts with other departments to ensure compliance with specification and communicates findings effectivelyConducting supplier visits and or meetings to follow up on identified quality / non-conformance issuesEstablish best practice and develop new inspection techniques as requiredEnsuring that the company quality procedures are followed and reviewed accordingly with the quality manager / representative.
