About the Role:
We are looking for dedicated Private Client Solicitors to provide expert legal advice across multiple sites in Scotland. You will manage a diverse portfolio of private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate planning, and executries, ensuring the highest standard of client care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of private client matters, including wills, powers of attorney, trusts, inheritance tax planning, and estate administration.
- Provide personalized legal advice and tailored solutions to clients, ensuring complex legal terms and processes are explained clearly.
- Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and executory documents.
- Support clients with probate and the administration of estates.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships with a focus on trust and discretion.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and firm policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to provide holistic legal services.
- Contribute to business development and help grow the Private Client practice.
Key Requirements:
- Scottish Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in Private Client law.
- Strong knowledge of wills, trusts, tax planning, and executry matters.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with clients during difficult times.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel across different sites in Scotland as required.
