Job: Avionic E-7 Cabinet Builder
Location: Middle Wallop
Duration: 6+ Months
The position has arrived for an Avionics technician in our mission system cabinet build team. The production team are building mission system cabinets. The Cabinets house mission system line replaceable units and associated wiring for Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircraft. The successful candidate will have experience working with build and modification drawing sets performing wiring installation and termination.
Job Description Summary
Avionics tradesperson for build of E-7 mission systems cabinets installing wiring harnesses to cabinet structure and completing final terminations and connections.
Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
Successful personnel will be working in a workshop environment in a small but dedicated team building mission system cabinets avionics tasks include:
Installation of premade wiring harnesses to wiring specification.
Final connections and terminations.
Installation and bonding of panels and components
Recording and certification of work on GOLDesp MRO IT system
