Position: Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Hours: Full time (Monday to Thursday 7.15am-4pm, Friday 7.15am-11.45am)
Salary: £38-43k
Amber Mace are currently working with a leading company in the automotive industry, committed to delivering high-quality products and services to their customers. As part of their dedication to the well-being of their employees, they are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join their team in Barrow-in-Furness on a full time basis.
As an Occupational Health Advisor (OHA), you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of their workforce in Barrow in Furness. You will work closely with employees, management, and other healthcare professionals to implement and coordinate occupational health programs, assess employees' health conditions, and provide expert advice on health-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct occupational health assessments for employees, including health screenings, fitness-to-work evaluations, and health surveillance programs.
• Work closely with HR and line managers to manage employee health related issues
• Deliver health promotion initiatives and educational programs to enhance employees' health awareness and well-being.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Liaise with external healthcare providers, specialists, and regulatory bodies as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a qualification in Occupational Health
• Previous experience working as an Occuaptional Health Advisor
• Good understanding of regulatiosn and guidelines
