DescriptionAVI-SPL is the world’s largest Audio Visual Integration company, delivering innovative AV solutions to commercial, corporate, and education clients.As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team and support a wide range of financial functions.What You’ll DoAs an Accounting Trainee, you will be trained on and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of finance including general ledger management, financial reporting, project costing, compliance, and month-end processes.This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone pursuing a career in accounting within a technology-focused and fast-paced industry and a desire to achieve qualification with either ACCA or CIMA.Day-To-Day Responsibilities:General Ledger & Month-End SupportAssist in preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate GL accounts Support the month-end and year-end closing process Assist with accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations Process intercompany transactions and multi-region account reconciliation Tax Compliance & AuditAssist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests Assist with preparation of annual statutory accounts and corporate tax returns Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Reconcile and prepare returns for multiple VAT registrations Dealing with multiple Government tax authorities for tax compliance Administrative & Ad Hoc SupportMaintain financial files and documentation Assist with continuous improvement of finance systems and procedures Provide general support to the Finance team as needed Business partnering with the global business YouAs a business we aim to help every one of our employees achieve their potential, so if you are looking to become the best in what you do, AVI-SPL is the right place for you to call home.
