Our client is global leading plastics manufacturer based in Oldham is looking to add an experienced Toolmaker to their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Injection moulding.
The Job
* Prepare and execute maintenance and servicing on all Plastic Moulding Tools
* Machining to a high standard on a range of toolroom machines
* Responsible for the manufacture of full mould tooling
* The assembly and fitting of tooling elements.
* Modifications and refurbishment of existing mould tooling
* Servicing and repairs of mould tooling
* Manufacture of jigs & fixtures to support the mould shop.
* Inspection of own work to a high standard
* Accountable for quality of work produced.
The person:
* For this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a toolmaker or similar.
* Ideally worked within an Injection or Blow moulding production environment.
* Must be apprentice trained
The hours of work are 7.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday
