Profectus are seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a well-established non-profit organisation focused on providing critical economic and financial data to shape policy and business decisions. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in the financial and socio-economic sectors.


Please note this is a Hybrid role with travel to the central London office, at least once a week.

This non-profit organisation works with key stakeholders in the UK economy, providing insights on consumer debt, household finances, and small business vulnerability. Their data drives policy decisions and informs business strategies.

The Senior Data Analyst will lead a small team and work closely with cross-functional departments to deliver data-driven insights. This role requires strong expertise in analyzing financial and socio-economic data, producing reports, and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and report on economic trends, household finances, and financial vulnerability.
  • Integrate and ensure the accuracy of financial data alongside external datasets.
  • Identify and present emerging trends in debt, financial vulnerability, and socio-economic factors.
  • Lead and mentor a junior data analyst, while supporting business growth and policy development.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to shape strategy and influence key decisions.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong background in financial or socio-economic data analysis.
  • Proficient in data tools (R or Python, Tableau or Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, with leadership capabilities.
