To be responsible for the development and implementation of a Children's and Young Person's Commissioning Strategy.
To work with providers to build local capacity, commissioning costs effective services that deliver positive and sustainable outcomes through high quality specialist services for children and young people, parents and carers that meet identified need, in line with national and locally agreed strategies, priorities and performance targets.
To manage the contracts and provider relationships across a range of markets. Development of commissioning processes to ensure service delivery efficiency. To effectively manage a diverse team of 7 operational staff.
