My busy Lenton, Nottinghamshire based client are currently seeking experienced and talented TIG Welders for their impressive, modern manufacturing facility with immediate effect.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* TIG welding in your own dedicated welding booth.
* You will be required to undertake fettling, grinding & tapping duties when not welding.
* Using varying workshop tools and machinery.
* Working from drawings & specifications.
* Welding to a high quality.
* Adherence to all health & safety policies and procedures.
* All other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed:
* Confident & experienced TIG Welder
* Experience in fettling, grinding & tapping would be advantageous
* Confident working from drawings.
* Team player
* Reliable & good timekeeping
Working hours rotate each week between 6:00am-2:00pm (Earlies) & 2:00pm-10:00pm (Afters), Monday to Friday. £1.00 per hour shift bonus is given when working the afters shift.
The hourly rate ranges from £13.00-£15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
These roles are being offered on a ‘Temp to Perm’ basis and so we are only looking to hear from candidates looking for long term work.
