Are you an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Supervisor looking for a new challenge in the water industry? We are currently working on behalf of a long-standing client, seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team, working on a key framework with South East Water.Position: MEICA Supervisor
Location: South East England
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to deliver projects to the highest standards.
* Supervise and mentor site teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance processes.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout project life-cycles.
* Conduct site inspections and audits, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.
* Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within the water or utilities sector.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly within the water industry.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
* Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
