Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Block Paver to join our team in constructing and repairing paths, driveways, and patios using various materials.
The ideal candidate will have experience in masonry and bricklaying, with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Duties:
- Lay and set blocks or bricks following blueprints or specifications
- Cut or saw bricks to fit around obstacles
- Prepare base materials such as sand or cement
- Ensure proper alignment and spacing of blocks
- Repair or replace damaged blocks or bricks
- Work with other tradespeople such as roofers, welders, and carpenters as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Block Paver or similar role
- Proficiency in masonry and bricklaying techniques
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with power tools for cutting and shaping materials
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
