Principal Structural Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Structural Engineer with a leading consultancy based on the South Coast. The position will report directly to the company Directors, providing strategic support to manage a structural team of up to 5 engineers.

Core Duties:
  1. Management of a structural team, including workload, order book, technical development, and professional guidance
  2. Reactive engineering design
  3. Project/design management, and identifying new growth areas and clients
Key Requirements:
  • A Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Relevant building structures design experience
  • Chartered Engineer status with the IStructE or ICE (or other appropriate professional institution)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Robot (or other structural analysis software)
