We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant with a strong sports background to join a school based in Hampshire. In this role, you will work closely with students who have social, emotional, and mental health needs, using your sports expertise to engage and inspire them.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Use sports and physical activities as tools to promote engagement, teamwork, and positive behaviours.
Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist in developing and implementing personalised learning plans tailored to each student's needs.
Foster a safe and nurturing environment that encourages personal growth and development.Qualifications:
A background in sports coaching, physical education, or a related field.
Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
