The People Of Digital is recruiting an Ecommerce Manager to join a fast-paced leisure/lifestyle brand operating within the club membership space.
With a strategic focus on enhancing club membership, this company has carved out a distinct niche in the market. With an established and well-structured marketing function, you'll be part of a team dedicated to driving on-site conversions and expanding the brand's digital footprint.
Role Overview: As the Ecommerce Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the company's online sales channels. From managing the website and implementing strategies to improve user experience to analyzing data and refining marketing campaigns, you'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth in the digital sphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales and drive on-site conversions.
- Manage the company's e-commerce platform, ensuring it is optimized for performance and user experience.
- Analyse website traffic and user behaviour to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns.
- Monitor industry trends and competitors to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with other departments, including IT and customer service, to ensure a seamless online experience for customers.
- Track and report on key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the leisure or lifestyle industry or even better a subscription type organisatiion.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and website management tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Location and Benefits: This role is based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, with the option for hybrid working (3 days a week in the office). The office is conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from the train station and offers on-site parking.
