Street Cleaning Operative - (Seasonal Temporary)
Location: Conwy County
Hours: 37 hours per week (5 days in 7) with some weekend work required
Pay Rate: £11.98 per hour
Duties:
Litter picking
Fly-tipping removal
Emptying public litter bins
Road sweeping
Interact with members of the public in a courteous and professional manner
Apply road salt to footways and open spaces during snow or ice conditions
Driving vehicles appropriate to the license held when needed
Work well alongside and follow instructions from fully qualified staff on day-to-day tasks
Adhere to Health & Safety requirements
Job Requirements:
Basic understanding of literacy, numeracy and relevant Health & Safety awareness
Physical ability to undertake tasks, including lifting heavy objects with appropriate training
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and exposure to other conditions such as dirt and noise
Must hold a full driving license
