We are an education agency representing an excellent Secondary School located in Wandsworth. This school is seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to work with students with a variety of learning and behaviour needs, in class and 121.
The role starts in September and will be for the full academic year, with the possibility of a permanent contract once you have demonstrated your work and commitment.
The hours are 8.00am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday and the salary for this role starts at £90 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to a students with a range of special needs, learning support and behavioural needs
General Teaching Assistant work
Assist students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Implement strategies to promote the student's social and emotional development.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the student's progress and well-being.Requirements:
Previous experience working with students with special needs and behavioural needs is essential.
A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with special educational needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt and differentiate teaching strategies to meet the student's unique requirements.
