As they continue on this journey, they have identified the need to embed an additional Quality Assurance Engineer into their Quality Department. This is a brand new vacancy for our client and arguably their most important hire of 2024. 
The role of Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for the following areas:
Provide quality assurance support to manufacturing and product development teams, resolving problems and ensuring the processes established result in a product that satisfies the clients requirements.
Support planned internal audits and audits of suppliers and key vendors, work with stakeholders on continuous improvements or gap closure plans
Analyse data to identify trends in product quality with goal of mitigating and prevent recurrence.
Observe both Product and Production team work instructions, standard operating procedures to identify problem areas and create solutions to ensure quality KPIs are achieved.
Using root cause analysing techniques to resolve issues.

Monday to Friday hours - this role will only need to operate across Monday to Friday and within a normal 9-5 hour pattern.

Track record of working in a growing organisation and knowledge of what is required to scale up and improve processes
Proven experience working with a production or shop floor environment
Ability to work with cross functional technical teams
Familiarity with core qulaity tools, i.e. APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and Control Plan
Established Quality Assurance practices and methodologies in a production environment
