Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits for a Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving first opinion 4 Vet Practice situated in a charming market town in the Midlands, just 15 miles from Birmingham. This role offers the chance to play a pivotal role in the ongoing success and evolution of the practice.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Practice Owners and Manager, contributing to the practice's growth and development. As Clinical Lead, they will have the autonomy to implement new ideas, mentor newly qualified vets, and maintain the high standard of care the practice is known for. This role may also evolve into a potential partner opportunity.
Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical leadership and expertise to support the practice's growth.
* Mentor and support newly qualified vets, fostering their confidence and skill development.
* Collaborate closely with the Owners and Practice Manager to drive the practice forward.
* Maintain the high standard of care and service the practice is proud to deliver.
* Share new ideas and initiatives to continually improve the practice's offering.
Requirements:
* Must be RCVS registered.
* Veterinary qualifications from Onderstepoort Pretoria or equivalent.
* Demonstrable experience and expertise in veterinary surgery.
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* A passion for providing exceptional care to animals.
Benefits:
* Competitive salary starting at £68,000+ per annum, with potential for partnership shares.
* Regular salary reviews every 6 months.
* Funding and encouragement for further study towards Veterinary Management or clinical qualifications.
* Payment of all registration fees.
* Flexible working options, with either 4 or 5 days per week.
* Full-time position entails 40 hours per week.
* 1:3 weekends, Saturday only, with no Out of Hours required as outsourced to a 24-hour hospital.
