Job SummerynThe Technical Trainer will support the ARMS Site Resident Engineering Teams training and development. They will be required to design, develop, execute, and review training programmes.nDuties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:nMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback and performance metrics.nManaging employee enrolment for training schedule training sessions and organising the resource to facilitate training programmes.nDesign deliver and evaluate training modules covering mandatory WAH, MH and comprehensive asset training.nCollaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are up to date and relevant.nConduct training needs assessments and develop training plans accordingly.nGenerate and train safe systems of work SSOW.nSuccessfully deliver training in a one to one or group environmentnEvaluate all development / progression frameworks within engineering ensuring employees and line managers can achieve fully competent status.nProvide regular feedback to engineering management on developmental progression.nSupport skill gap analysis for all technical engineering rolesnDevelop training manuals that target tangible results.nTechnically support the site on breakdowns when required.nSupport root cause and data analysis for facility improvements.
Skills / QualificationsnExperience in Mechanical / Electrical Technical Trainingnstrong organisation planning and time management skillsnKnowledge of various training methods including coaching workshops classroom training mentoring and e-learning programmesnStrong presentation communication and interpersonal skillsnExperience in designing creating and implementing L&D strategiesnAppropriate technical qualifications in Mechanical / Electrical engineering or development trainingnEfficient in Microsoft Office package
Shift Pattern / Working HoursnThe technical trainer shift rotor TBC but will include one weekend in full workingnThe role is site based with limited remote/ hybrid working.nSalary: TBC Depending on experience
