Year 5 Teacher Forward-Thinking School in Basildon Essex January Start

We are seeking a fantasticYear 5 Teacher to join a wellregarded primary school based in Basildon Essex East of England and start in January. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching in a Year 5 setting. Aside from that the successful Year 5 Teacher will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.
Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire Year 5 students to reach their full potential
Monitor and assess students progress and keep regular records of Year 5 students academic performance
Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning
Collaborate with school management teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support for Year 5 students
Prepare and participate in schoolrelated activities such as performances events and parent/teacher meetings
Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children
Use a variety of effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment
Year 5 Teacher Requirements:
Year 5 teacher experience
QTS or equivalent
A recognised qualification in teaching preferably a Bachelors degree in Education or any relevant field
Proven experience in teaching Year 5 in a mainstream primary or secondary school
Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with parents staff and students
Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class
Ability to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning styles
A passion for teaching and making a difference in students lives.
