An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist with Critical Care experience to join our pharmacy team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with excellent clinical skills to lead and transform our pharmacy services for Critical Care and Antimicrobial Stewardship.
The Wellington covers a number of specialist units including ICU Gynaecology CCU/HDU, Cardia Treatment and Digestive Health. Joining this team can give you experience and exposure to these different areas and experts within these fields.
You will be responsible for providing high quality comprehensive clinical pharmacy service across two intensive care units in the Wellington South and North hospitals. In addition, you will be the lead pharmacist for antimicrobial stewardship where you will oversee the coordination of the microbiology ward rounds and support on the antimicrobial stewardship strategy for the hospital.
Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience
Extensive relevant pharmacy experience including providing a clinical pharmacy service to critical care at an advanced level
