The Role:

A forward thinking and progressive architecture studio that focus on net zero modular homes are looking for a Senior Architect with strong experience at post-planning stages to join their team.


Working across projects from concept to completion with social values and sustainability at the forefront of design, you will have the opportunity to lead a team and bring construction expertise to a team of passionate architects and designers.


Our client offers a flexible working environment and the opportunity to be involved in growing the business having a positive impact on the built environment


Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the client’s needs and be able to consult on the delivery of the projects
  • With the help of the wider architecture team, deliver projects from concept to delivery
  • Managing and checking all drawing packages.
  • Submitting building control and planning applications
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers
  • Lead and manage multiple projects and team members
  • Mentor and nurture junior team members
  • Mitigating and managing project risks
  • Quality checks from design to build


Key Skills:

  • Master’s degree in architecture
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience working in the housing sector is required
  • Proven experience working on projects from concept to completion
  • Proficiency in Revit, Sketch-Up, Adobe Suite and AutoCAD
  • Strong knowledge of UK housing standards
  • Experience managing clients and working with consultants
  • Experience leading multiple projects concurrently
