Major Talent are thrilled to be partnering exclusively with a global chemical engineering company currently experiencing an exciting phase of growth.
To support their ongoing expansion, they are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to oversee the entire project life cycle.
THE ROLE:
As a Project Manager you will be required to:
* Work on multiple projects simultaneously
* Manage project activities from concept through to handover
* Organise project activities including planning, organising, monitoring and reporting status updates
* Create project timing plans and milestones
* Regularly review progress against set targets
* Risk management to prevent issues from occurring
* Ensure corrective actions are implemented to enable successful project delivery
* Manage project changes, liaising with customers and colleagues
* Identify improvement opportunities
* Work in a cross functional team
* Motivating team to ensure optimum performance levels
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal Project Manager:
* Degree educated in Chemical Engineering
* Proven track record of managing projects at component level within a manufacturing business
* Excellent planning and organisation skills
* Strong commercial acumen and business awareness
* Ability to communicate and engage with people across all levels
* PRINCE 2 / PMP/ APM PMQ Certified
* Previously worked on a COMAH site
* Working knowledge of DSEAR, CDM, COMAH
* Strong problem solving skills
