Managing Quantity Surveyor

Shore Executive have been assigned on behalf of a Tier 1 Main Contractor who specialise in Traditional Office Fit Out Projects. Our client is seeking to recruit a Managing Surveyor to oversee Cut & Carve projects ranging from £20 – 30 Million.


You will be driven to climb the career ladder and display natural leadership qualities. This position would suit those who are currently working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a desire to increase project autonomy and business decision making.



Due to the nature of this role, you will ideally match the following experience:


  • of commercially leading an Office Fit Out project (CAT A or B) with a minimum value of £15 Million
  • working for an Office Fit Out Main Contractor Or within a division which specialises in Workplace Projects
  • MUST have experience of Cut and Carve


Key Responsibilities:


  • for commercially managing a £20 Million + Office Fit Out project
  • Sub-Contractor documentation (including: Negotiation of Terms & Conditions, Pricing and Programme).
  • and compile Sub-Contractor works packages
  • monthly reports and CVR’s
  • and update cost plans
  • and challenge Sub-Contractor tenders
  • site visits
  • external professional relationships
  • for final accounts
  • meetings with the client and appointed professionals
  • the bid and tendering process
